The Company of Ecuador was founded in Guayaquil in 1924. Ecuador had its Cinema Golden Age during the early 20´s to 30´s, but it failed with the coming of the sounds movies.
There were a lot of countries that get inspired of Ecuador and created numerous books and novels based of it, like the novel Galapagos directed by Kurt Vonnegut.
The first movie created in Ecuador was “ Los tesoros de Atahualpa” (1924) and the most talked “Que tan lejos”. This movies represented Ecuador and won Oscars.

I like the Ecuadorian movies the plots are kind of wear but the used of cameras and music are really good as the actors too.

ResponderEliminarknow that now the Ecuadorian Government is supporting the cultural part of Ecuadorian people is wonderful. I said it because before think in those things were unimaginable. And it great that here the industry grows up each time more.
ResponderEliminarI started watching movies of Ecuador and they had mistakes like other movies from other countries but they are good. What I like about these movies are the sounds but we should appreciate what directors made.
