Who Invented Cinema, the Camera, or Film?

The first machine that showed animated pictures was the "zoopraxiscope". William Lincoln in 1867 watched through the zoopraxiscope. The birth of The Modern motion picture was the motion picture camera.

The Frenchman Louis Lumiere invented the first motion picture camera in 1895. What Lumiere invented was the Cinematographe, three functions covered in one invention. There began the Modern Motion Picture.

The Cinematographe made motion pictures very popular and modern. Lumiere and his brothers were the first to present pictures to the society in 1895.
